What happens during internet outage?

On connection loss, the system switches to fallback mode: your devices are controlled via a timer schedule (default: 10 PM - 6 AM). Once connection is restored, real-time optimization continues automatically.

For meaningful optimization, I recommend at least 50 liters of storage capacity. From 80 liters, savings become noticeable as more energy can be shifted to cheap hours.

SNAP – the summer low grid price

From 1 April to 30 September, a reduced summer grid price applies daily between 10:00 and 16:00: the grid usage working price drops by 20% within this window. Only this consumption-based grid component is reduced – not the whole bill, not grid losses, base charges or taxes. The goal is to shift consumption into the solar-rich midday hours. A smart meter with active 15-minute metering (opt-in) is required.
